A WHITE woman called the police on a black Uber customer sheltering from the storm in a doorway while waiting for her taxi.

Darsell Obregon posted the disturbing footage after claiming she was ordered to leave the spot where she was standing in the wealthy Park Slope in Brooklyn, New York.

Obregon says she was on her way to the subway when it started raining - and she found a small spot to shelter while calling an Uber.

But she claims a young woman, who has been identified as Arabella Juniper Torres, marched out of the building and demanded she leave.

Posting the video on Facebook with the hashtag #whiteprivilege, she wrote: “No more than 3 minutes later a young woman who lives in the building opened the front door and told me that I can not stand there and had to leave.

"I told her I was not going to move (unbeknownst to her I was just waiting for my ride and would be leaving in a couple of minutes) so then she proceeded to call the police.”

Her footage appears to show a barefoot Torres become increasingly distressed on the phone as she speaks to the police.

"Ma'am this is not public property," she tells Darsell, adding to cops: "So you're sending an officer because now she's recording me? I asked her to leave and now she's refusing."

A separate video after Obregon's Uber arrived shows Torres trying to stop the driver from leaving.

When the driver moved off, Torres followed the car along the sidewalk telling him: "If you go anywhere, you'll be committing a crime as well; you know that, right?"

The horrifying clip ends with the woman telling the operator the Uber driver's license plate details.

The incident comes after a mum claimed racism was behind an accusation that they'd sneaked into a shared swimming pool.

The Vancouver Sun reported how Guerda Henry was targeted and felt "ambushed" after being the only person int he block to be singled out.

Obregon's footage has prompted accusations of racism on Facebook, where it has been shared nearly 10,000 times.

Maggie Ashcroft wrote: "Wow, what is wrong with America. I hope the police did not follow this up. Unbelievable".

While Natalia Kozi added: "Looks like she’s a “raging conservative,” which is her nice way of saying racist".
