PAMELA Anderson is set to shell out thousands of pounds on IVF treatment so that she can become a mum again, according to a new report.

The Baywatch star, 51 - who has two grown-up sons with rocker Tommy Lee - wants to start a family with her French footballer boyfriend Adil Rami, 32.

Adil already has two kids from a previous relationship.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: “She had her eggs frozen years ago and is determined to have a baby with Adil, even though she knows the process can be gruelling at her age with no guarantee of success.”

Pamela has felt encouraged by the likes of Janet Jackson and Brigitte Nielsen, both of whom recently gave birth in their fifties.

The friend said Pamela's sons - Brandon, 22, and Dylan, 20 - are supportive of the idea.

The friend said: "Both are excited by the prospect of having a new sibling, even though they are slightly worried about her health.

“They are old enough to understand that in vitro sessions can be gruelling for a woman.

"And – if her dream comes true and she does get pregnant – simply carrying a child then giving birth in her fifties will be a big physical ordeal.”

“No-one is trying to dissuade her from getting pregnant, but her body isn’t as strong as it was.

“Her doctors will be monitoring her health very closely, especially as it could take years to get a result."

The Sun's Bizarre column recently revealed that Pamela - whose ex-husbands include Mötley Crüe rocker Tommy Lee, 55, singer Kid Rock, 47, and poker player Rick Salomon, 49 - and Adil were set to get wed after getting engaged.

Pamela now lives in France, where she has traded in her skimpy red bathing suit for an apron after opening her own bakery in a quiet village.

She and Adil met at the Monaco Grand Prix in May last year and have been inseparable ever since.
