Moscow's public headquarters for monitoring presidential elections, headed by Alexei Venediktov, recorded a violation on the site in the Eastern Administrative District of the capital. In a letter sent by the editor-in-chief of the radio station Ekho Moskvy to the head of the Moscow Election Commission Valentin Gorbunov, it is stated that at the polling station No. 1204 (Znamenskaya Street) two ballots were in the hands of one voter. As pointed out by Venediktov in his Twitter, the ballots were dropped into the urn.

The deputy head of the Public Staff, Alexei Shaposhnikov, told RBC that the violation was noticed by an observer, and the mobile headquarters group went to the scene.

The fact of violation was recognized by the precinct election commission. The urn itself was sealed, and Venediktov asked Gorbunov to annul the results of the vote on her.

In his turn, Gorbunov pointed out at the briefing that the ballot papers at the site No. 1204 will be declared invalid, RIA Novosti reported. According to him, a similar violation was recorded at station No. 1353 (Fedor Poletaeva Street, 2/8) in the capital district of Kuzminki. There, the urn is also sealed, and the bulletins dropped inside will not be counted.

Shaposhnikov said that the violation at station number 1204 has so far been the biggest violation in the elections in the capital. At the same time, he confirmed the violation at station No. 1353. "The mobile group went there," he told RBC.
