A UNIVERSITY student whose body was found at a US mall had been dead for about two weeks, according to officials.

According to the New York Post, Silling A. Man, a student at Georgia State University, was discovered on December 21 in a vacant Subway restaurant at Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, outside of Atlanta, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The cause of her death was not released, but officials noted that her body was in an “advanced state of decomposition,” according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.

The 19-year-old initially disappeared on October 8, but returned home shortly after a relative contacted police. Two days later, Man went missing again, according to authorities.

No missing persons report was filed over her second disappearance.

Police said Man was last seen on November 20 when she picked up her pay at a store in a different mall from the one where she was found dead.
