NICOLE Eggert has made her allegations against Scott Baio official.

The actress, 46, filed a police report on Tuesday accusing Baio, 57, of sexually abusing her when she was a minor, reports TMZ.

“Nicole spent two hours today with special units of the LAPD giving her statement and filing the police report,” her rep David Weintraub confirmed the New York Post in a statement. “She plans on co-operating with the police department as they investigate all of her allegations against Scott Baio.”

Eggert was accompanied by her lawyer Lisa Bloom who tweeted on Tuesday, “We will fully co-operate with the LAPD investigation. Many have reached out to Nicole and me to say that they witnessed inappropriate behaviour from Scott Baio when Nicole was underage.”

The actress has accused Baio of molesting her when she was 14, 15 and 16, while they were starring alongside each other on the family sitcom Charles in Charge.

She also repeated her claim that Baio had sex with her when she was 17.

Baio has vehemently denied Eggert’s allegations, claiming that he never molested her. He has also said that while they had sex one time, it was after she had turned 18.

Eggert was accompanied by fellow Charles in Charge star Alexander Polinsky who told detectives he witnessed some of the alleged abuse.

“It took Nicole a long time to come to the decision that she wanted to let the world know what Scott Baio did to her and its been very freeing for her finally talk about what happened. Nicole is very happy that the report is done and she looks forward to seeing how they handle the investigation ” Mr Weintraub told us.

Baio’s rep told the website, “We’ve been demanding since last year that Nicole Eggert bring her story to the authorities. It’s good that she finally has, even if it’s part of a publicity campaign. Perhaps she can explain to them her ever-changing story.”

The actress first came forward with the accusations against her Charles in Charge co-star on January 28.
“Ask @Scottbaio what happened in his garage at his house when I was a minor. Creep,” she tweeted, before going into detail about the alleged incident.

Baio has maintained Eggert was 18 years old when the encounter happened and that she seduced him.

“She wanted me to be her first so that she will be good for her boyfriend,” he added in an interview with Good Morning America last week.

A Rep for Baio did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
