Today, NVIDIA has made available a new version of its Vulkan GeForce Graphics driver, namely 356.43 beta, which adds support for 64-bit vertex attribute formats, and removes Fermi based GPU enumeration in vkEnumeratePhysicalDevices.

In addition to that, this release improves performance of vkBindBufferMemory (bind device memory to a buffer object), vkBindImageMemory (bind device memory to an image object), and vkCreateGraphicsPipelines (create graphics pipelines).
When it comes to supported GPUs, this release is valid for certain models of NVIDIA’s Quadro, GeForce 900, GeForce 700, and GeForce 600 line-up, as well as for some Quadro notebook series graphics processing units.
As for the operating systems, version 356.43 beta is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 platforms. However, take into account that Vista OSes aren’t supported on notebook configurations.
In terms of installation, first ensure your GPU model is supported by this release, save the appropriate package compatible with your operating system, run it, and wait for the wizard to extract all files required for the upgrade.
Afterwards, simply follow all on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation. Also, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.
