A NEO-Nazi couple planning a “white holy war” kept an arsenal of weapons, a court was told.

Claudia Patatas, 38, and Adam Thomas, 22, had crossbows, machetes and an axe in their bedroom, jurors heard yesterday.

Nazi flags, Ku Klux Klan robes and other items with fascist symbols were also found by police at their home in Banbury, Oxfordshire, it was said.

The couple also kept a swastika-shaped pastry cutter in their kitchen, a court heard.

The “Anarchist Cookbook”, containing bomb-making information, was on a laptop, Birmingham crown court was told.

They are accused of being part of banned far-right terror group National Action, which jurors heard plotted war against ethnic and gay people.

The couple, and Daniel Bogunovic, 27, of Leicester, deny the charge.

The trial continues.
