A MUM abandoned her £1,200 Pontins holiday after spending one night at the resort as her hotel room had stained carpets and dirty furniture.

Hannah Nicholls, 30, had intended to stay for a week at Camber Sands, but fled in fear for her toddler's safety.

In horrifying pictures she took before leaving the resort, clumps of fluff and dirtballs can be seen covering the floorboards.

Large pots of opened wall paint were abandoned in the outdoor area and windows were so filthy,

Hannah told Mirror Online: "It was absolutely crazy, I thought this can't be real. The kids said they wanted to go home, so we went in the end.

"They'd been so excited before we got there. It was a shambles."

She had travelled with her parents, William, 56, Deborah, 54 and one-year-old daughter Maisie, from Essex.

Her brother Daniel, 36, his partner Tracey, 37, and children Paige, 11, Harry, nine, and Billy, three, had also joined them on a trip funded by her late grandmother.

The family expressed their horror to the manager, who she claimed, said there were no other rooms.
