MOSCOW, March 9 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti. Former GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia were probably poisoned with nerve agent in their home in Salisbury, the Telegraph newspaper reported.

As a result of the poisoning incident, Sergeant Nick Bailey, a local police officer, was also severely injured. It is noted that Bailey visited the house of the Violins a few hours after the father and daughter were uncovered in the city park. However, the doctor who helped them on this site did not suffer.

The publication concludes that Skripali was most likely poisoned at home, and not as a result of an attack on the street, as previously thought.

Former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter were hospitalized in the UK last week. Now they are in a coma. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia considers propaganda a statement about Moscow's alleged involvement in the poisoning of Skripal and will be ready to assist in investigating the poisoning if such a proposal is received.
