THE Prodigy singer Keith Flint had a secret girlfriend for two years, we can reveal.

The rave music wildman, found dead at home aged 49 on Monday, had been in a “serious relationship” with mum-of-three Faye Kelbie, 43.

It is thought to have ended weeks ago but they were said to have been in touch just days before his apparent suicide.

The pair met through friends in their village in Essex and one pal said last night: “Faye is absolutely devastated. For over two years, Keith was a huge part of her life and she adored him.

“They split up because she struggled with the amount of time he was touring.

“Faye just wishes she had known the extent of his unhappiness and mental health issues — she would have done all she could to help. But the feeling is that Keith made his mind up to end things weeks ago.”

Faye, who runs her own dermatology clinic, was seen in tears last week after his body was found at his home near Dunmow. She declined to comment.

The tattooed performer, whose band were best-known for their 1996 hit Firestarter, was married to Japanese DJ Mayumi Kai.

But it is understood they split three years ago.

Keith had a share of £5million earnings in the past two years as The Prodigy played sell-out gigs worldwide, accounts reveal.

He and band-mates Liam Howlett and Maxim, real name Keith Palmer, split the cash equally.
