The dressed-to-kill Dubliner has teamed up with tailor-to-the-stars David August Heil to release his own line of luxury menswear.

Speaking exclusively to the Irish Sun, tailor Heil said: “Our audience is seriously committed and loyal.

“We sold out of a couple of styles within the first 24 hours of launching the site and we didn’t really promote it other than our immediate followers and Conor’s fanbase.”

The ‘Drop 1 Look Book’ range of Conor’s first venture into the fashion world includes €107 hoodies, €48 T-shirts and €44 caps.

However, the swanky Crumlin fighter’s real money-maker will be the August McGregor line of suits which is due to come on stream from next month.

The superstar tailor said: “August McGregor was always intended to deliver select ‘drops’ every month of curated products. We’re not developing large seasonal collections because we’ve found our guy doesn’t shop that way.

“The young male shoppers are far more selective in what they consume.

“We want to produce fresh items that we think will really resonate with the fanbase and offer limited-quantities of the items so that they remain special.

“Stay tuned. We’re just about to premiere two styles of suiting for August McGregor.

“We’re planning on keeping everyone engaged by offering a couple of options on a regular basis to help our guys improve their wardrobes . . . from basics to special occasion outfits. In November, the styles will be geared towards the holiday season.”

Moneybags Conor McGregor is set to get richer

Savvy McGregor was toasting good business earlier this year when he penned a new six-fight deal with the UFC, which includes sponsorship from his blossoming whiskey company Proper 12.

The 30-year-old’s booze firm has since contacted August McGregor about teaming up for a collaboration.

Heil said: “We’ve been approached by Proper 12 to do a collaboration and I think it could be interesting to work with Dana and the UFC team.

“But my primary goal is to stay focused on making product that meets the demands of our fans. If something develops organically and feels right, the possibilities are limitless.”

Fashion expert Heil has been working in the clothing industry for more than 30 years and has dressed a host of Hollywood A-Listers including Will Smith, Robert Downey Jnr, Clint Eastwood and Sylvester Stallone.

The Californian met McGregor on his rise to the top of the UFC and began providing him with personalised styles including the famous F*** You suit that the Irishman wore ahead of his money-spinning boxing match with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
