AN MP was branded a “Jew b***h” online more than 2,500 times in three days in a far-right hate campaign, a court heard.

Former Labour MP Luciana Berger was bombarded with abuse after an image was tweeted to her account with the hashtag #HitlerWasRight.

In the image, a star was imposed on her forehead, mimicking Nazi imagery used to target Jews.

Expert Professor Matthew Feldman said: “In the space of three days the hashtag ‘Jew b***h’ was tweeted at Luciana Berger more than 2,500 times.”

He said it showed the banned far-right group National Action had a “vehemently racist creed”.

The abuse emerged in the trial of four people accused of being members of the group.

The four, including so-called Miss Hitler beauty contest winner Alice Cutter, 22, all deny the charge.

The case continues at Birmingham crown court.
