LIONEL Richie's son was arrested at Heathrow after threatening to detonate a bomb and assaulting a security guard, US media reports claim.

Milo Richie, 24, allegedly flew into a rage after being refused entry onto a flight - but was let off with a police caution.

TMZ reports Milo, a model, was released after accepting the caution - which means he dodges prosecution.

A witness said he was furious when denied boarding to a flight at Terminal 5 on Saturday morning.

He "claimed he had a bomb in his bag, which he'd detonate if he wasn't let on to the plane", the report said.

Police detained him after he allegedly punched a security guard.

He was interviewed and released, according to the report.

Scotland Yard said: "On Saturday January 19, a 24-year-old man accepted a caution for communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow Terminal 5 earlier that morning."

Last August a librarian who made a bomb hoax because he was late for his flight at Gatwick was jailed for ten months.
