Kevin Spacey is ‘plotting acting comeback and is still getting job offers’

KEVIN Spacey is plotting a Hollywood comeback and still getting offers despite being charged with sexually assaulting a teen boy, reports claim.

The Oscar-Winning actor, 59, is due to be arraigned on Monday on the charges in a US court.

But according to Page Six, Spacey is still receiving acting offers despite being accused of assaulting a then-18-year-old restaurant worker.

A colleague said: "He is still getting acting offers from Europe and Russia.

"He’s just assumed he can come back [to American films] in a few years.”

It comes after he posted a Christmas Eve video while channelling his former role as fictional politician Frank Underwood.

He asks: “You wouldn’t believe the worst without evidence, would you?

"You wouldn’t rush to judgments without facts, would you?”

Kevin Spacey was one of Hollywood's most decorated actors - known for roles in acclaimed films like The Usual Suspects and American Beauty.

But he has been charged with felony and indecent assault in Nantucket, Massachusetts after he allegedly sexually assaulted the 18-year-old man in 2016.

The victim's mum, Heather Unruh first made the allegation during a press conference in November 2017.

Ms Unruh said the actor bought her son "drink after drink" at Club Car Restaurant restaurant, Massachusetts, before allegedly sticking his hand down the 18-year-old's pants and touching him.

Spacey is currently the subject of six open Scotland Yard sexual assault investigations, with incidents alleged to have taken place in London and Gloucester.

He was sacked by Netflix's House Of Cards and Sir Ridley Scott erased him from his completed film All The Money In The World in re-shoots costing millions.

Spacey, who was artistic director at London's The Old Vic theatre between 2004 and 2015, was one of the first Hollywood stars to face allegations in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
