TONY Blair’s daughter has annoyed her posh neighbours over plans for an “eyesore” extension to her £2.4 million home.

Barrister Kathryn Blair, 30, wants to extend her five-bedroom house at the rear and move her gas meter to the front of the property.

But neighbours have joined forces to oppose the plans. They claim proposed solar panels on the single storey extension “would be an unattractive eyesore”.

In comments on Westminster Council's website, they also claim moving the meter would “spoil the praised architectural quality” of the street.

One neighbour said they “strongly objected” and called the plans “thoughtless vandalism” in a conservation area.

Another accused her of allegedly “trying to make a much taller extension using misleading examples of bigger houses further down the street.”

Kathryn bought the property in Bayswater, West London, with her fiance James in January.

She owns another £1.2million townhouse half a mile away. Dad Tony has a property empire worth an estimated £27million.

One brother, Euan, 34, co-owns with mum Cherie a £4.3million property in central London and 17 rental flats in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
