KATE Middleton is not used to Meghan Markle's "say-it-as-you-see-it" personality, US reports claim.

Amid reports of a growing feud between the two sisters-in-law, an insider told People that Meghan's "American mentality" is something the Royals are having to familiarise themselves with.

Discussing how the former Suits actress is still trying to find her place within the Royal household, the source said: "The most difficult job in the Royal Family is to work with Meghan's ambitions and make them realisable.

"She will get frustrated if she is told, 'You can't do this or can't do that.'"

What's more, the source claims that Kate Middleton and other members of the Royal Family are "not used to the 'say-it-as-you-see-it' American mentality".

Describing the Palace as "a place where all you hear is 'no, no, no'", the source claimed that Kate Middleton has "manoeuvred herself in a very different way" to Meghan but "she is still strong."

In contrast, Meghan has reportedly been branded "Duchess Difficult" by Palace insiders following another one of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's aides - Samantha Cohen - resigning from her role.

As Meghan continues to find her place within the Royal Family, another recent report claims that the former Suits star is is finding it "frustrating and stressful" being unable to "stand up for herself" on social media.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are vacating their Kensington Palace residence and moving to Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle next year to prepare for the birth of their first child.

Ahead of the move, a family friend has described Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle as two "very different characters" who will benefit from some distance.
