THIS is the hilarious moment a BBC presenter was mobbed by lemurs as he tried to do a live news report from a zoo.

BBC Norfolk reporter Alex Dunlop was trying to broadcast a piece on Banham Zoo’s animal count when he was attacked by eight of the creatures, reports The Sun.

He groans, “This could take some time” as the excitable primates dance over him and pull at his jumper.

One attempt at filming the TV spot ends after three words and a yelp when one nips his finger. “Ow! Bloody little nipper,” the reporter says.

On the second attempt, he makes it as far as “And I’m at one of the region’s zoos where they’re doing their annual stocktake of animals” before gasping in agony as his hand is bitten again.

The exasperated reporter screams “Ow! You little *****” after the creature goes in for a second bite.

He jokes: “Well I think this is one of the more enjoyable parts of the job: counting lemurs”.
