JEREMY Corbyn last night risked ridicule as he echoed Theresa May by dancing in public.

The Labour leader performed the viral flossing craze backstage at an awards ceremony.

But he ended up looking more like hapless Mr Bean with his bizarre moves.

Mr Corbyn was persuaded to try out the dance by ten-year-old Max Johnson at the Pride of Britain awards last night.

Along with stars Olly Murs and Ashley Banjo, he attempted flossing - the tricky dance made famous by featuring in Fortnite.

But the leftie MP couldn't quite get the hang of it - and ended up just swaying from side to side.

His moves were mocked on ITV's Good Morning Britain.

Host Susanna Reid quipped: "You say dancing - that's probably the loosest definition of what's happening there."

Guest presenter Adil Ray added: "It is a bit Mr Bean, isn't it?"

Mr Bean, played by Rowan Atkinson, showed off terrible dance moves in a 1991 episode of the ITV comedy show.

Theresa May has recently made public dancing her trademark after she was spotted joining in with schoolchildren on a trip to Africa.

She boogied onto stage for her party conference speech this month, to the tune of Abba's Dancing Queen.
