IVANKA Trump was deeply hurt by a parody of her on Saturday Night Live last year, it’s been revealed.

In her White House expose Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House, Omarosa Manigault Newman reveals Ivanka’s reaction to a skit that roasted her, Complicit.

In it, Scarlett Johansson dressed up as Ivanka and took jabs at her for supporting her US president father Donald Trump — who critics have labelled a misogynist and who has been accused of sexual assault — while proclaiming to be a feminist.

“At the senior staff meeting, Ivanka couldn’t stop bemoaning it, how offensive it was, how ridiculous it was,” Omarosa writes.

“We’d all been subject to SNL attacks … We’d all been hit, many of us in that same week’s show. But Ivanka would not stop talking about being ribbed,” she recalls.

“Like her father, Ivanka was thin-skinned and could not seem to take a joke.”

The segment, which aired in March 2017, was produced in the style of a fragrance ad for a perfume called Complicit. It showed Scarlett as Ivanka walking into a glamorous party as a voice over said:

“[Ivanka is] a feminist, an advocate, a champion for women, but … like. how …

“She’s loyal, devoted, but probably should’ve bounced after the whole access Hollywood bus thing,” referring to the voice recording of Donald Trump bragging about grabbing women’s genitalia without asking.

“She doesn’t crave the spotlight, but we see her, oh how we see her. The fragrance for the woman who could stop all this, but won’t.”

After the sketch aired, Ivanka responded in an interview with CBS news:

“If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact, then I’m complicit.

‘‘I don’t know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing.”

But Scarlett only continued her attack on America’s First Daughter, saying she was “uninspiring” and “cowardly”.
