ISIS is plotting an audacious comeback using 30,000 fanatics after smuggling £300million out of Iraq – while laundering the blood money through car dealerships.

The brainwashed death cult has also turned to drug trafficking in a bid to fund their terrorist activities, reports the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

According to the US Department of Defence, the terror group retains nearly 30,000 fighters across Iraq and Syria.

The officials said ISIS is currently “more capable” than Al-Qaeda in Iraq when Osama Bin Laden’s extremists were at their peak between 2006 and 2007.

Despite efforts by the US-led coalition in the region, the group has developed an effective campaign to re-establish support zones by raising funds, reports the ISW.

The report claims ISIS has smuggled £300m out of Iraq and invested the cash in businesses across the Middle East.

Its supposedly religious followers continue to engage in crimes such as extortion, theft, and money laundering.

They have been accused of extorting money from families in northern Syria.

The US-led coalition recently stopped a large stash of amphetamines being trafficked by the brainwashed thugs in the south of the troubled country.

They have created a variety of front companies in Iraq which they use to launder their blood money including car dealerships, electronic shops, pharmacies, and currency exchanges.

Last month, the terror group raided a healthcare facility near Kirkuk in Iraq stealing an unconfirmed quantity of drugs.

ISW has released a map graphic showing ISIS’s current operations in the region based on analysis from January to October this year.

In August, The Sun revealed that terror bosses are luring back droves of British jihadis as ISIS expands “like McDonald’s”.

Expert Olivier Guitta, who advises governments on counter-terrorism, said a “dramatic revival” of the evil network has led to vulnerable Muslims heading again to Syria and Iraq.

And he fears the radicalised Brits will then return to the UK.

He said: “ISIS version two is coming. Two or three years ago we saw British and European jihadis returning to Syria and Iraq in droves because Isis was collapsing.

“Now they’ll be heading back because they will see that Isis is re-taking territory.”

Mr Guitta, boss of consultancy GlobalStrat, said the deadly cult's success is down to its unique “business model”.

He added: “ISIS is the McDonald’s of terrorism. They say ‘we don’t care who you are, as long as you come and buy our product’. They will take anyone and everyone.”

Last week, sicko militants circulated a chilling online poster warning of deadly knife attacks at pop and rock concerts across Europe.

In the shocking image - credited to Remah Media Production- a suited man is seen holding a huge knife behind his as he lurks near a crowd of cheering music fans.

The caption to the photo - which has been posted on Twitter - reads: "Wait for our surprises" and it is signed "Islamic State", reports PJ Media.
