ISIS fanatics call on ‘lone lions’ to carry out Christmas festival attacks

EVIL extremists have called on Muslims to kill innocent people "in their festivals" in a chilling propaganda poster.

A poster, which appeared to include an image of the white truck used in the 2016 Nice terror attack, urged jihadis to target "Crusaders in their festivals."

It also included a picture of the British Houses of Parliament and London's Big Ben with what looked like fireworks in the background - just a week before the New Year's Eve celebrations in the capital.

Big Ben was also used by ISIS in a sick poster last year when they released a chilling image of a gunman firing automatic weapons at the famous clock tower.

Muharar al-Ansar, the pro-ISIS group, released the poster to try to spur on fanatics.

It was picked up by a terror monitoring expert.

Last week ISIS-affiliated group issued a chilling new threat to target the US and EU with drone attacks.

It showed a photoshopped image of a drone with a box flying over Manhattan in New York.

The tag-line sread: "Sender: The Islamic State." Photographs then showed chaotic scenes below.

It comes after drones at London Gatwick crippled the UK's second busiest airport for three days last week, ruining Christmas travel plans for around 250,000 passengers.

Meanwhile the masterminds behind the 9/11 terror attack are developing new technology to blow up passenger planes, UK security minister Ben Wallace warned yesterday.

He confirmed Al-Qaeda had “reorganised” while ISIS were at the forefront and are now active in Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen and Libya.

Al-Qaeda terrorists are now plotting to use drones equipped with explosives to blow up key targets.

Hamza bin Laden, the son of Osama bin Laden, is believed to have taken control of the terror group.

ISIS terrorists still hold a string of villages and towns along the Euphrates River in eastern Syria, where they have resisted weeks of attacks by the US-supported Syrian Democratic Forces to drive them out.

The pocket is home to about 15,000 people, among them 2,000 IS fighters, according to US military estimates.

But that figure could be as high as 8,000 militants, if fighters hiding out in the deserts south of the Euphrates River are also counted, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
