THIS is the moment three men pushed a gate as a hunt saboteur tried to climb over – sending her flying before she landed on her neck.

Footage released from West Kent Hunt Saboteurs shows the young woman climbing the iron gate while reportedly trying to interrupt a hunt last Wednesday.

A group of men, believed to be linked to the Ashford Valley and Tickham Fox Hunt, asked her if she has permission to be climbing over the gate and began shaking it.

When she reached the top, one man appears to deliberately lurch the gate forward, sending the masked girl crashing to the dirt.

The men can then be heard laughing as the woman got back on her feet following the fall, which “could have left her with a broken neck”.

When confronted, one of the men then denied doing anything wrong as his friend stood behind him smirking.

Fellow hunt saboteur Harry Blackhurst, from Kent, said: "We were monitoring the Ashford Valley and Tickham Fox Hunt last Wednesday.

"We were following the hunt all day and at this point one of our sabs, the lady, was trying to keep up with the hounds.

"We were climbing over the gate and those three elderly hunt supporters were shaking the gate.

"She ended up falling from quite a height onto her shoulders, but luckily she was okay. It could have been an awful lot worse.

"She's strained a few muscles in her shoulder and luckily it's nothing serious. The gate was at least two metres tall.
"They didn't care at all. They were saying that they'd done nothing wrong."

The 31-year-old recruitment consultant has now claimed the group of saboteurs have been trolled by hunt supporters, but insists they only aim to save wildlife.

Harry said: "The hunt supporters have come back to us. We've actually had a lot of online internet trolls that have been trolling us and saying nasty comments.

"Our sole aim is to save wildlife that's being hunted - principally foxes and hares."

On social media, one person said: "She is thankfully but was understandably very shaken up. She could easily have broken her neck."

Another wrote: "Disgusting, a grown a***d man treating a female like that. I'm surprised she didn't break her neck when she fell. Hope the sab is ok."

Ashford Valley and Tickham Fox Hunt were contacted for comment. Kent Police were also contacted for comment.
