Somewhere between 200-300 GB.

Most months it around 1TB+, while other months I can be hitting 2-5TB+.
I do try and keep it at the lower end. I also do most of my downloading during the night time.
My friends always said I would D/L the internet *Joke*

Hard to say exactly. I would say about 500gb at least. Most hd tv shows with multiple seasons can be up to 100gb or more so it is quite easy to spend a lot of bandwidth. Mind you that I don't watch or use everything I download. I sometimes download something thinking "this looks mildly interesting" and then it just sits there on my seedbox or pc until I finally watch it or delete it to clear disk space.

How do you guys check how much data you’ve used? Or is it going by the file sizes of the stuff you’ve downloaded?

I don't know anymore I think about 250 gb between dramas and animes.

1TB easily, monthly. Especially with the fast internet here...
