For me, Napster, think it was something Duran Duran.
heh, I can remember thinking it would sound like music played down a telephone line because I was on a old dial up modem!
It didn't and I haven't stopped since

haha.. fair enough, but you must have some idea of what software you used to get it? Kazaa, Morpheus, Direct Connect++, Tape to Tape? envelope under a park bench?

I spend so much time in a forum that deals with torrent trackers. I guess it's obvious.

Oh man, I'd have to think back a ways. Definitely Napster, I remember grabbing individual songs to put on mix cds to listen to on my ride to school. Mostly generic techno, but I do remember one of my earlier cds having "Kyle's mom is a big fat b*tch" from Southpark on it. I was super classy back then.
