So am hoping someone can give me a answer to this problem....

I am looking at buying a home cinema system and would like to connect my external hard drive to it....recently my brother showed me his and it seemed pretty cool and worked fine now im looking at buying a home cinema system that will work with my external hard drive is there any parts i should be looking out for on the information side like usb playback etc....
