VISION of what looks like an antique potato masher moving on its own has emerged online.

Jennifer Bauer from Detroit, Michigan filmed the bizarre phenomenon earlier this month. In the video, Jennifer walks up to a bench top with the potato masher on top. It’s already moving when the video begins, as she gets closer, the masher continues to move for around 30 seconds.

She posted the video online, “[I] recorded this on my phone, but if you play the sound, the male whisper-talking through this video, I was the only person in my house and no TV or radio was on.” She wrote in the caption.

She said the masher originally came from her grandmother’s relatives in Tennessee in the 1800s, then was passed down to her where it lives in her basement.

The video ends when the masher stops moving.
