Girl, 2, bitten in the face by a bulldog in Sydney’s south

A TWO-YEAR-OLD girl has been attacked by a bulldog in Sydney’s south.

Paramedics and police officers have rushed to Turrella where the girl is understood to have suffered puncture wounds around her face.

The dog as been restrained.

It comes just ten days after a German wirehaired pointer attacked the back of a 14-month-old girl ’s head and neck in Gippsland, inflicting life-threatening injuries. Paramedics worked on her for two hours but she died at the scene. The dog has since been destroyed.
