A GERMAN pop singer is feared dead after reportedly plunging from a cruise ship in the Atlantic ocean.

Daniel Küblböck, 33, is thought to have jumped from the fifth deck of the the AIDAluna just weeks after posting a haunting Facebook message about being bullied at school.

Writing on the page of his official fanclub last month, he opened up about enduring "months of bullying" that shook "deeply in my soul" as a child.

He wrote: "Dear fans. Unfortunately, I still do not feel better mentally and physically.

"I have yet to cope with this pain of the past months"

German tabloid Bild claims the singer - who appeared on Germany's edition of Pop Idol in 2003 - was on a holiday cruse from Hamburg to New York when he vanished.

Their report claims an eyewitness saw someone hurl themselves from the fifth deck of the boat.

Daniel's dad Gunter told Bild: "I cling now only to the hope that somehow still everything will be fine."

In January 2013 his neo-Nazi older brother Micheal died in Berlin after a heroin overdose.
