GARDAI have launched an appeal to find a stolen car specially fitted out for the owners’ teen with special needs.

Cops are looking for any information about the car that was stolen in Skerries, Co Dublin on Friday October 5.

The car – which vanished two weeks ago – is specially adapted to transport the family’s teenage son.

The silver Mercedes E Class Estate has the registration number ’12 D 55188′.

A garda spokesman said: “Gardai in Skerries, Co Dublin are appealing to the public to try a locate a car which was stolen during the course of a burglary on Friday, October 5th 2018 in Skerries.

“The silver Mercedes E Class Estate Registration No: 12 D 55188 is specially adapted for transporting the owners teenage son who has special needs.

“Gardai and the family are very anxious to locate this car.”
