A WOMAN has been seriously injured after falling from a hotel window in Dublin on Monday evening.

The 21-year-old woman was rushed to St James’s Hospital after she fell from a window at the Clarence Hotel in the city centre, according to the Irish Independent.

Gardai arrested a 23-year-old woman in connection with the incident who has since been released.

A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Sun: “Gardaí in Pearse Street are investigating an incident in relation to a woman (21 years) who was removed to St James Hospital on Monday 12th November, 2018 at approximately 8pm after receiving an injury in a hotel on Wellington Quay.

“One female (23 years) was arrested at the scene and was detained under Section 4, CJA and has since been released and a file will be prepared for the DPP.

Gardai confirmed that investigations into the incident are ongoing.

The Clarence Hotel told the Journal.ie: “The Clarence are assisting authorities with their enquiries and will make no further comment.”
