FOUR men were stabbed in North London last night - just a day after three people were injured in a nearby shooting.

Cops were called to a mass brawl in Edmonton shortly before 6pm on Sunday.

Officers found four men in their 20s suffering from stab wounds. Their conditions are not known at this stage.

The quadruple stabbing came just 24 hours after a shotgun attack less than a half mile away.

A boy, 16, and two 22-year-old men were injured when the gunman opened fire on a minicab.

Scotland Yard told the Mirror Online: "It is very early in the investigation but it believed to be linked to the shooting last night.

"A crime scene has been put in place and Fraser Road has been closed.

"Enquiries continue."

No arrests have been made in either investigation.

Cops closed down Enfield's Fraser Road after the 6pm stabbing, which took place a day after the shooting on Gordon Road in Edmonton.

The police spokesman added: "This evening four men, all in their 20s, were found with stab wounds. They have all be taken to north London hospitals. We await an update on their condition.

"Two vehicles that had been in collision were also found at the scene.

"A crime scene has been put in place and Fraser Road has been closed. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue."

Earlier this week we reported London has reached a new milestone as five killings in just one week saw the city's murder toll top last year's total.

Shocking figures reveal the number of homicides in London has reached 122 - four more than in 2017.

The toll of 122 homicides includes 69 fatal stabbings and 14 shootings.
