    About archive interpreters (Movies&Series) :

    Hello friends;
    There is a question. I do archives. my favorite movies.
    archive feature, 720p and (less) 1080 p. archive size is small.
    first time I tried x265 movie. Image quality is good, size is great.
    I've tried; The TV does not play. codec error subst.
    maybe, I can renew the tv (old). in later times.
    How do you make your archive preference? x264? X265?
    Are you watching movies on a television or a computer?
    Recommend television model & brand?
    thanks, love

    I prefer to watch x264 because x265 has a LOT of compatibility issues. I watch stupid comedies on computer and serious movies on TV

    As for TV', dont buy 4K in my opinion as it is very expensive and not worth it. ALWAYS buy Samsung or LG.
    Neal Caffrey and ballerin2a like this.
    It was many and many a year ago,
    In a kingdom by the sea,
    That a maiden there lived whom you may know
    By the name of Annabel Lee;
    And this maiden she lived with no other thought
    Than to love and be loved by me.

    My tv cannot play x265. I think newer tv's can play it. If its for pc playback then go with x265. Otherwise download x264 encodes.
