FIRE crews in Tallaght rushed to the scene of a rollover crash that hospitalised one person this morning.

An ambulance from Blanchardstown, Co Dublin was called and one person was brought to hospital with minor injuries.

A fire engine was used as a barrier to prevent further accidents on the dangerous bend in the road.

Dublin Fire Brigade tweeted: "A fire EMS crew from Tallaght and our ambulance from Blanchardstown responded to a rollover RTC this morning.

"One to hospital with minor injuries.

"The fire engine was used as a barrier to oncoming cars around a bad bend to protect patients and crews from further collisions."
