Having just got the last in Terry Goodkind books for Christmas from the sword of truth series. I was wondering who are you favourite authors.

I love Italo Calvino's stuff, especially Mr. Palomar

Arthur Conan Doyle, Ken Follet, Gary Jennings, Stephen King if it's not supernatural (Misery, The Shawshank Redemption, ...), Robert Ludlum, George Raymond Richard Martin, Michael Morpurgo, Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, Лев Никола́евич Толсто́й (Lev Nikolaïevitch Tolstoï), John Ronald Reuel Tolkien and a couple dozen others in French, German or Spanish.

What about H. P. Lovecraft or Robert E. Howard?

Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, George Orwell, Chuck Palahniuk

Erich Fromm, made me a better (kind, sensible, has empathy etc) person then I faced (bumped) to life that it's is just a big lie that everybody joins, people give emotions and get materiel things then exchange this stuff with emotions again so the circle goes on and on. Is it good or bad? Not matter, I see the truth and that's enough.
