THE family of a man found drowned in Ibiza believe he may have been killed and have offered £5,000 for information leading to a conviction.

Anwaar Lahrichi-Greenwood was found floating in the water off the party resort of San Antonio on Sunday, less than 48 hours after he went missing following a party.

Initial reports said he had marks on his body but a post-mortem discovered he had died from drowning.

Police said they have no evidence pointing towards a fight or attack taking place before the 24-year-old Londoner ended up in the water.

A grieving relative has set up a social media account called Justice For Anwaar.

Anwaar’s aunt Souad Lahrichi, who is behind the appeal for information, said: “My nephew Anwaar Lahrichi Greenwood was killed on Saturday August 8.

“He was found in the marina in San Antonio.

“We are offering £5,000 for any information that may lead to a conviction. We as his family are desperate to find out what happened to our boy, my sister’s only son.

“Please help us help her find some peace.”

The message along the Instagram group Justiceforanwaar added: “Anwaar didn’t just die. He was killed. Help us to get him justice.

“Help us, help him when no-one else would.”

Further tests - expected to be carried out at a lab in Barcelona - will now seek to determine if he had consumed drink or drugs before he died.

Anwaar was due to fly back to Britain the day he disappeared.

He vanished after partying in San Antonio and was walking towards the party resort’s main beach called s’Arenal.

Friends and family paid tribute to Anwaar after it was confirmed the body pulled from the sea was his.

His sister Lula wrote online: “I feel so dead inside knowing I’ll never see you again..knowing you went on holiday and died in the sea alone…I tired to find you with all my power my love.

“My bro bro, my best friend. You were the best brother and you made me feel important and special.”
