    Look at your manual. I will be willing to bet it has to be formatted to a FAT32. For instance, they aren't expecting people to put a 1TB drive into their product(which your 1TB drive is formatted for NTFS most likely). So what is formatted for FAT32 standards still? Thumb drives/flash drives. But they aren't very big. They have programs out there that will reformat the drive to FAT32. Also, you may have to put all of the video files you want the surround sound to see in a specified folder. On the PS3, I had to format my hard drive to a FAT32 and put all the movies into a folder called "VIDEOS". That way, if any folder was called that the PS3 would retrieve information and display it on the XMB. Check out your product user manual. It should tell you some things and we will be able to help you out.

    no idea where my manual is now if i lose lipstick easy and never find it, i got no chance with a manual, i have heard that term b4 fat32 i will look into it more over google thx again honey for giving me some useful information (wish u lived closer so you could just pop in and sort it for me lol)....x

    Haha. ;-). Oh, and try a thumb drive with a movie on it and see if it works. Tell me what happens.
