A COCAINE dealer with ten kids by ten women has been described by a judge as a “good father”.

Dwight Bartley, 48, was said to have operated under pressure due to “significant family responsibilities”.

He was jailed for two years for possessing £30,000 worth of the drug, but could be free in three months.

The Sun can reveal his most recent child was a daughter born just two weeks ago to a 28-year-old lover.

She got pregnant a fortnight before Bartley was arrested in December during a drug deal.

The new mum, who asked not to be named, said: “He hasn’t rung to ask about our child. He can be very charming. He led a double life. He’s got lots of women.”

But Gloucester crown court heard the mums knew about one another. Stephen Fidler, defending, said: “It is unusual when someone has so many children with different women but there is no animosity.”

Trinidad-born Bartley, who is married, admitted possession with intent to supply as a courier for a drugs gang.

Sentencing Bartley yesterday, Judge Ian Lawrie said: “You are a good father. You have clearly got yourself in to debt. In hock to someone of a meaner disposition than you.

“It was not an open choice. It was done under pressure.”
