I have been doing some trading and selling trying to help and give respect to this great site i have just tried to get onscc and i am disabled there are that many scammers and cheats popping up out of the woodwork the sites are banning countries and some how they are slippingthrough the net and destroying yoursites getting you banned you come to trust a member by helping them out but all what they are doing is laughing at you or behind your back i am now not got privledge of one of my best site i am so fed up of them and we get the blame

Theres somethings you can do to help protect your accounts.

1. Delete the thread once your complete your deal. If you cant delete ask a mod to get it deleted for you.
2. When providing ratio proofs remove everything after "." in case of upload download and ratio. Bonus points invites and username must be edited out completely. If any 3 of them is clearly visible it doesnt take much to figure out your account.
3. If you find something fishy. Like you get an invite and immediately get banned report this matter to the staff. This is common for a tracker like what.cd but others arent that strict and this guy you just invited might be a spy and be the cause of many other users loosing their accounts.
4. When creating a trading thread only mention the buffer. Dont give additional details like Upload=3+TB download=4+TB. It gives the staff an idea about the accounts that are being traded and a s soon as they find the ip changing on any of those accounts they'll ban that account.

Unfortunately theres been a lot of scammers here lately. Most of them are cleared before he even creates a thread or post. However its the users coordination that helps us ban the rest. Many users dont report scammers or people who try to scam. Report them even if you recover your account. Today they scam you tomorrow it will be someone else unless someone reports them.

Now this guy was a scammer but the guy who traded with him didnt report it and instead gave him a negative feedback (I just banned this guy). Now unless the staff goes through everyone's feedback how would we get to know about him? Wouldn't it be difficult for us to keep checking 10,000 feedback's on a daily basis.

Never go first against a guy with lesser feedbacks. You can also check people with medium feedback 10-30. See where those feedbacks came from, Were they giveaways, sales or trades. That gives you a better idea about them. In case of high level trackers always use a middleman. The staff would gladly be able to help you oust and if we are not available ask someone both of you trust.

Overall its the staff and the users that have to work together and make TI a better place. Do help in whenever possible Your inputs are greatly appreciated.

Word, I had to learn that the hard way a few times in my early days with some really high level trackers.

What if TI goes invite only? Atleast it'll keep staffers away.. Man it's worth seeing TI invites sold here and there. Lol!

ti wont go invite only for alot of reasons

I stated in my intro that I would but now that I think about it (at least for me) it isn't wise to engage in trading or selling. In fact it is not even necessary if you are truly into file-sharing. Just participate and make good on your accounts. That is all anyone really expects anyway -
