Dad’s amazing Christmas gesture: Six flights to spend time with flight attendant

Some people will go to extraordinary lengths to spend time with their loved ones over the festive season.

Flight attendant Pierce Vaughan couldn’t be home for Christmas so her dad decided he would go and spend time with her instead.

Hal Vaughan bought a ticket on every one of her flights over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

His amazing gesture was shared on social media by a passenger who sat next to him during one of the flights.

Pierce Vaughan later wrote that her dad did indeed make it onto every one of her six flights over the two days - even flying one leg first class.

It is the season for generous gestures.

A baseball player gave his parents an incredible Christmas present — and it could be up there among the best gifts ever.

US rookie player Brady Singer wrote a heartfelt letter to his mum and dad thanking them for their efforts to make his baseball dreams a reality.
