KAKA revealed how Cristiano Ronaldo once bought 15 phones for Real Madrid staff members as the Brazilian described the winger's ‘attentive’ nature.

Ronaldo shared four seasons alongside Kaka, as the pair both signed for Real in the 2009 summer transfer window.

Speaking to SporTV Brazil, Kaka told how Ronaldo bought 15 phones for Real club staff during a pre-season tour of Los Angeles.

Kaka said: "We were going to pre-season in Los Angeles, he would ask someone to buy 15 phones and distribute them to people who worked at the club.

“In very basic everyday things, he showed a lot of the human being who is.

"Cristiano is an amazing guy, really, everyday, he's a kind of 'grade 10', super attentive to everybody."

Kaka's tale will come as little surprise to those who have followed Ronaldo's generosity.

The former Manchester United star has made a habit of grand gestures, including leaving a £17,850 tip for hotel staff after a stay at a luxury resort in Greece.

Kaka, who signed for Real Madrid for a then world record fee of £56.1m, was joined at the Bernabeu by Ronaldo just one month later after the Spanish club broke their own record as they shelled out £80m to sign CR7 from Manchester United.

Ronaldo and Kaka would go on to win a La Liga title and Copa Del Rey cup together but their careers in Madrid differed.

Kaka struggled to maintain a regular position in Jose Mourinho’s side as the Brazilian failed to hit the same heights he set at Milan.

In 2013 Kaka returned to Milan only to end his career in MLS with Orlando City - while Ronaldo would go onto win four Champions League trophies with Real.

Ronaldo, however, left Real this season as like Kaka he departed for Italy with the five time Ballon D’or winner signing for Juventus.
