POLICE are hunting for a man who tried to drag a teenage girl into his car while she waiting waiting at a bus stop.

The girl was standing on Marlborough Street in Milton Keynes when the man pulled up beside her and offered her a lift.

When she refused he attempted to drag her into the car by grabbing her by the arm.

After she was able to escape the man got back in his car and drove away.

An appeal for information has been launched and Thames Valley police have released an e-fit image of the man.

They want anyone with information to get in touch.

The incident took place on November 15 at around 10.30am at a bus stop on V8 Marlborough Street.

He has been described as approximately 22 or 23 years old, of a slim build with short brown hair.

He had bushy eyebrows and a beard.

The vehicle he was driving is described as a green, left hand drive car. The make and model are unknown.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Wayne Watson, of Milton Keynes Force CID, said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in or around the area at this time who may have seen this incident.

“Luckily the victim was not injured and managed to break away from the offender’s grip, but we are conducting a thorough investigation into this incident.”
