The Minnesota cop charged with fatally shooting an Australian bride-to-be — after she called 911 to report a possible sexual assault — will recreate the shooting Friday while the moon is in the “same phase.”

Former Minneapolis officer Mohamed Noor, 32, who killed 40-year-old yoga teacher Justine Damond as she approached his police car in her pajamas, will stage the scene to gather evidence with similar lighting and conditions, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

His lawyer, Thomas Plunkett, also requested access to a police squad car to replicate the shooting, which happened in an alley behind Damond’s home in July 2017.

“The moon is set to be in the same phase on 12-28-2018, as it was on 7-15-2017, so access to a squad on 12-28-2018, would be most helpful,” Plunkett said in a court filing.

Noor and his partner, Matthew Harrity, had been called to Damond’s home after she reported a possible sexual assault behind her home.

Noor, who was sitting in a police car, shot her in the stomach while she was approaching the driver’s window of the vehicle, according to police.

Noor, who has pleaded not guilty, has said he was startled by a loud sound before opening fire. He claimed to have seen a man on a bike riding toward Damond’s house right before the shooting — and that he acted in self-defense.

He was charged with third-degree murder and will stand trial in April.
