BEIJING, Mar 28 - RIA Novosti. China's central television showed footage from the meeting of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un, who made an unofficial visit to China earlier this week.

On Wednesday morning, Xinhua News Agency reported that Kim Jong-un on March 25-28 with his wife made an unofficial visit to China. Later, an identical message appeared on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC. The trip to China was Kim Jong Un's first foreign visit after his coming to power (2011).

As you can see on the staff, the welcoming ceremony and negotiations took place inside the House of Public Assembly.

Kim Jong Eun after a handshake and a joint photograph with Xi Jinping, smiling, introduced him to his wife, who was dressed in a beige dress. She shook hands with Xi Jinping and Chinese First Lady Peng Liyuan. The leaders and their spouses were photographed all together, and a ceremony of greeting followed with a guard of honor.

Usually, greeting ceremonies with a guard of honor take place inside the House of People's Assemblies during the cold season, but in Beijing it's already warm enough. Judging from the cadres, the ceremony did not differ from those held for other foreign leaders in China.

During the negotiations, as seen from the staff, Xi Jinping smiled several times, and Kim Jong-un looked focused and serious. The North Korean leader was dressed in a typical dark suit with wide pants.

After the talks, the Chinese leader and his wife arranged a welcome banquet for foreign guests, at which Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un also made speeches. The head of the DPRK and his wife also visited the exhibition of innovations of the Chinese Academy of Sciences during the visit, where the North Korean leader left a memorial inscription in a special book.

Television also showed footage from Diaoyutai State Residence, where foreign high-ranking officials often stop and where an event with Kim Jong-un's participation took place.

Speculation that Kim Jong-un arrived in China on an armored train appeared on Monday evening, but neither side officially confirmed this information. On Tuesday morning in the center of Beijing, security measures were strengthened, and along the main street in the direction of Beijing Railway Station drove a motorcade without identification marks. Immediately after that, the Japanese media reported that a special train from the DPRK left the Beijing railway station.
