ANOTHER major airline has joined the fare war, slashing the cost of flights to Europe and North America.

Just months after Emirates and Singapore Airlines offered return Europe flights for less than $1200, Cathay Pacific has launched two fare sales.
The airline is offering flights to Europe, and North America from just $997 return in a sales which runs until Friday, March 2

The first sale is dubbed Aussie Jet-setters and covers North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Fares from Perth start at $1,031 return including all taxes and charges.

For example, a flight to Brussels is $1031 return in economy while San Francisco is $3246 in premium economy.

The travel period is March 1 to November 30.

The other sale is for Washington DC which is the airline’s newest destination and features the new Airbus A350. The fare from Perth is just $997 return with travel from September 16 to December 7.
