A BRIT widow gang-raped on holiday in Italy has flown back there to face the suspects in court.

The 50-year-old’s drink was allegedly spiked on the last day of her trip with her teenage daughter in October 2016.

The woman, who cannot be named, claimed she was attacked by at least eight hotel employees in Sorrento.

Five men, aged 18 to 21, were arrested two months ago. Cops said they bragged about the alleged attack on WhatsApp.

The widow, from Kent, gave evidence this week at a pre-trial hearing in Italy where the five appeared. She said: “I recognise all of them.”

She added: “It was as if I was having an out of body experience. I felt as if I had no control over what was happening.

“There were at least ten of them, all naked and all young and I was taken into a room while I was under the effect of a drug. I remember one of them had a crown tattoo on his neck.”

The men claim the sex was consensual. A trial is expected in the autumn.
