MOSCOW, February 21 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti. Moscow does not exclude that it will respond to sanctions against Russians from the "Mueller list" if the US introduces them, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"We always react, including the mirror, we have our own lists of persons who are restricted to entry to Russia, there are other forms of reaction, I do not rule out anything, but before talking about this, we need to really see what will happen in this story "- said Ryabkov told reporters.

In his opinion, the threats to introduce new sanctions are aimed at fueling tension in Russia before the presidential elections. "Paradoxically, the Americans are taking steps that are aimed at interfering in our internal affairs, but still continue to groundlessly and unjustly reproach us for allegedly interfering in the electoral processes," Ryabkov added.

At the same time, the deputy minister advised the Russians, who can get under American sanctions, to weigh the situation when going abroad.

"I can not say for what reasons Americans include Russian citizens in certain lists, I think that everyone should understand for themselves whether there can be claims against him from US law enforcement agencies or not, and based on this, build their behavior" , - concluded Ryabkov.

Earlier, State Department spokesman Heather Nauert said that the US can impose sanctions against Russians who are on the "Mueller list." This is 13 people and three companies charged with collusion against the US and fraud. Russian citizens, among whom Yevgeny Prigogine and the staff of the Internet Research Agency, blamed the fact that they allegedly tried to intervene in the American elections. And, as the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov noted, no concrete evidence was provided by the United States of America.
