THESE are the first photos of the three men accused of murdering Brit millionaire Alan Hogg and his wife - as the hitmen today claimed her brother bludgeoned his own sister to death with a hammer.

Alan's brother-in-law Warut Satchakit, 63, was arrested this morning along with two friends after the retired businessman and wife Nott, 61, were found buried in the garden of their mansion having been missing for almost a week.

Warut - who allegedly bludgeoned his OWN SISTER with a hammer as she screamed while another man held her down - told police how he had long been "resentful" of wealthy Alan.

The pair had a furious argument two weeks ago and Warut retreated to his shabby wooden house in the Muang district of Phrae, northern Thailand.

Seething with anger and envy at Alan and Nott's wealth, the brother is alleged to have devised a plan to murder them both and contacted a gambler in the neighbouring town of Wang Chin, Phia Kamsai, 63, to help them.

Warut allegedly paid 50,000 baht (£1,170) to Phia Kamsai, 63, who recruited Kittipong Kamwan, 24, to help with the crime and paid him 3,000 baht (£70) of his fee.

The trio then broke into the home on September 18 and at 6pm Phia told police he shot Alan twice - once in the chest and once in the head - as he was going to feed his ducks.

Major General Kissana Phatanacharoen said: "Mr Kittipong confessed that he was involved. Mr Warut hit his sister over the head until she collapsed. He then hit her until she was dead.

"Mr Phia said that he was the person who killed Alan with a shotgun."

Warut initially denied the murder, but the two men he allegedly hired then implicated him after they were caught.

They told police there were three men involved in the murder, and that Warut was the mastermind who had organised it and was with them.

It had previously been claimed that there were three hitmen - but it was not known that the third man was actually the brother.

Phia also told police that while he was searching out Alan who was feeding his ducks, Warut attacked his younger sister with a hammer in the garage of their home.

Kittipong - the youngest of the men - allegedly held her down while Warut hit her over the head until she was unconscious. They then dragged her out into the garden.

The trio told police that they then used Alan's digger - which he would use to lovingly tend to the grounds of his home - to make a two metre deep hole behind a duck pond and dumped them in it next to each other.

Concerned friends reported the couple missing last Thursday and arrested Warut after he was seen on CCTV stealing their white Ford Ranger, which he sold for 200,000 baht to local hill tribe people. He was later released on bail after denying any involvement.

But after police found the stolen truck in Ayuttayaha, near capital Bangkok where it had been sold again to a Laos businessman for 420,000 baht (£9,800), they checked it for fingerprints and traced the two hitmen.

The pair confessed to police and revealed they were ordered to kill the couple by Warut, who was arrested this morning.

The two hitmen were interviewed at 2pm this afternoon and confessed to the killing. Police remanded them in custody while they gather evidence and interrogated the brother more.

Pol Lt Gen Poonsap Prasertsak said: ''The three men will be charged with premeditated murder. They killed the couple.

"The older brother, Mr Warut, organised the murders and paid 50,000 baht (£1,170) to his accomplices. The two hitmen have confessed but the brother denies being involved.

"We are certain that the brother was there. He admitted he was resentful of Alan and his sister and had many problems with them. There is enough evidence for us to prosecute him."

Major General Kissana Phatanacharoen added: "Three arrest warrants were issued for the men, Mr Warut Satchakit, 61, Phia Kamsai, 63, and Kittipong Kamwan, 24.

"All of the men have now been arrested and detained.

"They conspired together to murder Mr Alan and Miss Nott at their home. This was due to long family feud and personal conflict. There are many people who we still need to talk to.

The three men helped with the burial and left the scene shortly after 8pm on September 18.
