TERRITORY swimmers beware, Berry Springs has been closed for swimming — again — after a small saltwater crocodile was spotted splashing around in the area.

NT Parks and Wildlife rangers said the saltie was spotted in the management zone, and the popular swimming hole would be closed for safety reasons.

The NT News understands the sneaky saltie wasn’t in the swimming area, but in the creek outside.

Just a few weeks ago, on September 27, the area was closed for swimming after a croc sighting.

After five nights of crocodile spotlight surveys, rangers reopened the area, but it seems the salties are determined to splash around in the area.

The picnic area remains open.
