A TWISTED Belgian clown allegedly convinced his yodelling sidekick to help him kill his former girlfriend in front of her three kids, and then livestreamed the ensuing standoff with police, according to disturbing new reports.

The clown, Kevin Lapeire, 31, star of Belgium’s Got Talent, did not get along with the three children of his 47-year-old ex, identified by local media as Caroline D, the UK’s Telegraph reported.

According to the New York Post, the discord resulted in the couple’s breakup, allegedly leading Lapeire to seek revenge with assistance from Dietwin Haegeman, 38, who appears as “Clown Tobi” — but is better known as “Dietwin the Yodeler”.

The crazed clowns were accused of breaking into the family’s home in Oudenberg, where they terrorised and tied up the 12-, 15- and 17-year-old children on Sunday night.

“I am no longer a clinic clown but a crimi-clown. That’s how I will become famous,” Lapeire reportedly told the kids before calling their school to say they would be late for class on Monday.

“I am a monster. I know that,” he added.

The two men then allegedly proceeded to fatally stab Caroline, whose body was found on Monday in the garage. The children were found tied up upstairs.

The attack was carried out on Mother’s Day.

Later on Monday, a defiant Lapeire — who entertained sick kids as “Doctor Aspirin” — stood on the roof of a 13-storey building in Bredene as he waved and fired off a handgun while surrounded by police snipers before they finally collared him.

His alleged accomplice was also nabbed.

The children’s dad told Belgian news outlet Het Laatste Nieuws that “all my care and attention now goes to them.”
