A new piece of ransomware known as Bad Rabbit is causing problems in Europe and Russia. Upwards of 200 victims have been affected by the malware, says Kaspersky Labs, and it's been spreading via an illegitimate Adobe Flash update. Victims exist in Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and Germany.

Some of the potential targets have included Ukraine's Odessa airport, the Kiev subway system, Ukraine's Ministry of Defense, and Russian media companies Interfax and Fontanka.ru. When systems are infected with Bad Rabbit users are asked to pay a 0.05 Bitcoin ransom ($281). Users must make the payment within 40 hours or else they'll have to pay more.
